"Difficult children" -Please don't brand
In fact these �children� could be undergoing a difficult situation !
Difficult students need affection n bonding.The more they feel lonely due to tough measures there is a possibility of such difficult behavior.It is due to sheer immaturity.
Understand the child n provide the necessary inputs.The correction of behavior requires approaches that are suitable to the individuality of the child. Nurturing is a method where transformational conditions are provided without branding the child as difficult.
It is not too difficult or challenging for the trained n experienced teachers.Children being at an innocent age have to be nurtured with good human qualities by providing exactly the same.
It also includes the adaptive or accommodative behavior.Which should be communicated verbally for the child to be able to understand what is being accommodative or behaving correctly.
If the so called difficult child is made to feel that at times being accommodative is good for self there lies the key.
How to make them feel is through various methods such as story or role play or experiential. Imitating is a very common feature among kids behavior. We all agree that often we see them saying the words like elders or trying to act like elders.Hence we have a clue here that they would be willing to be 'not difficult' by the effective approaches.The child should be made to connect with the existing behavior and expected behavior or socially accepted behavior personally.Transformation is thus possible only by a personal connect such as similar age group, class,names etc.
Keeping the time of the whole class in mind, there has to be a supportive attitude from management by providing assistance to the teachers in ways required .
Advise and guide- Invite parents for a 'guidance meet 'and advise how they can help in the matter with very specific and pragmatic ways.
The advice is for the goal to achieve very precisely ! Which means in a very practical way and as a visible desirable manner, what exactly the kid needs to do. What actions from elders, result in the progressive behavior of the child, takes a prominent place in the guidance.
